Corporate Communications & Media Relations
A primary role of the Office of Corporate Communications is to advance the University's education and business objectives and enable CQUniversity to gradually, and inevitably, improve its reputation by raising awareness among internal and external stakeholders of CQUniversity's brand values and achievements.
Reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor, Corporate Communications is responsible for corporate/stakeholder communications, media and government relations and internal communications.
The Office links with practically all other areas of the University to differentiate CQUniversity within the global Higher Education sector, promote an organisational culture that encourages and supports transparency and collaboration, and integrate communications planning with strategic and operational planning. It achieves this by producing unique media (Be, UniNews, numerous custom projects etc), working with the media, directly communicating with stakeholders, and enhancing the communications capability of individuals across CQUniversity.
